MY STORY
I've been teaching English online for a year! I started this job after my second son was born. I wanted to be a Stay at Home momma but also needed a way to earn a little extra income for my family.
I am LOV-ING spending these days with my two little guys while they are so young. I set my schedule so that I am finished teaching by the time they wake up in the morning. Then, we spend the rest of the day playing, going, doing, learning, exploring. The saying is true: they grow up too fast! Teaching online has blessed me with the opportunity to enjoy all of the playtime, snuggles, giggles and milestones, (okay, okay... and all of the dirty diapers and tantrums too!) all while alleviating some financial strain for my family.
Before becoming a mom, I taught Special Education for 5 years. I LOVED my job and the daily challenge of making learning accessible to my life skills students. Teaching ESL online provides me with a much needed CrEaTiVe outlet for me to flex my educator muscles! Now, I get to make the English language accessible for sweet kiddos on the other side of the world.
